Hello Family and Friends

I hope you had a fantastic week!!

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY GENO! I LOVE YOUR STINKIN' GUTS SO MUCH AND I HOPE YOU HAVE THE BEST TIME AT AFY! STOP GETTING SO TALL! MWAH! (Try not to let too many girls have a "cow" on you. That's afy lingo for crush of the week.)

This week was awesome :) Sister Owens and I wore matching dresses to District Metting on Tuesday. We talked about working with the Bishop and Members to further the work here in the mission! I'm excited to get going and working more with members and the Bishops here! I also got to play piano for District Meeting and it was great! I need to start playing more.

My favorite couple/family of the week is Roy and Norma Rounds. If i had to guess, I would say they are in their 80's. Norma has a cute little trampoline that she exercises on. When we went over, they were in the middle of dinner so we just sat and talked with them. Roy told us war stories and Norma chatted up a storm. She said thatWhen people in relief society say you are supposed to love your children when they are struggling, she said, "I say just knock their heads off." She keeps a fridge full of eggs and let's us grab a dozen whenever we need them. We were walking outside and i said, "Norma it smells like skunks out here!" And she said "Yeah, we shot three yesterday." Then she conducted the music in sacrament meeting. She said that used to be her calling but they relseased her because she was too enthusiastic and fast. But they needed a sub this sunday, so Norma volunteered! After the intro of the first song (Called to Serve) She yelled "Ya'll ready? Ya got yer books open? OKAY LETS GO!" Everyone was laughing so hard. She did the same thing during the sacrament hymn and after the sacrament hymn was over she did a fist pump and yelled, "Yes! Good job!" hahah I wish you could meet her!

On wednesday, The manderson's (A couple from alabama that sister owens taught in Rexburg) took us to lunch at the park. There was this little ferret that was climbing up a tree and we took lots of pictures. I will include some :)

On Thursday and Friday, I was on exchange with the Ammon sisters because Sister Owens went to a training in Pocatello. The sisters names are Sister Koka and Sister Gesulga. They are from Tonga and the Phillipines. It was really fun! We walked that day and it was so hot out. Sister Gesulga got sick that night and I think it was because she was dehydrated or something. We went to dinner at a sisters house. Her name was Norma. (What is with Norma's being so awesome?) The dinner was good but it was my first awkward one. She just stood and watched us eat and kept giving us food! I need to learn to eat very slow. After dinner, Sister Koka, Sister Gesulga and I sang "The Day Dawn is Breaking" to her. It was a very spiritual experience and I think that Norma appreciated it. It was beautiful :) On friday morning during our studies, they were reading conference talks and would keep asking me how to pronounce stuff and what it meant. good thing I payed attention during history class because they were all about the constitution and freedom and stuff like that. I was reading about the creation and asked the sisters "Where do you think the Garden of Eden was?" sister Koka was half asleep and neither of them were answering and all of a sudden she says "Tonga" and rolled over back to sleep haha. So on Thursday night, both of the sisters pulled their mattresses in the living room so that we could sleep in the same room. It was hot out so we left the windows open so it could cool off. It sounded like a hurricane outside and it was so windy in the middle of the night! The blinds were rattling and I was right next to the window so I pulled them up thinking it would help, but it didn't. Next thing I know, Sister Koka is up and pulling the blinds completely off and throwing them on the floor. Right when we were about to fall alseep again, the screen starts rattling. hahaha it was a rough night.

I saw sister Corry at the visitors center when we were there dropping everyone off for exchanges! I missed her a lot so it was great to see her!

We are teachign a few people! Jamie is working on coming back to church. We love her! We went and visited her with a Ward Mission Leader Brother Waters and it was great to get to know her and her family. Her son Zack had just gotten his tonsels out. they had them in a jar in the fridge and I asked if I could see them. So they brought them out for us to see. I asked if I could taked a picture with them, but he thought that was weird and said no. haha

Taylor is a girl we are teaching! She wants to get baptized!! We are teaching her the first lesson on Wednesday. I'm pumped!!

On Monday we are teaching a lesson at FHE. Sister Burt (Our neighbor with the goat named Oreo) Hosts an FHE every monday and invites inactive or non member young women. We are going to base our lesson off of the talk by Dieter F. Uchtdorf, "Happily Ever After" We are going to try and pick up some princess crowns from the dollar store today :) Wish us luck!!

Linda is a member that was recently reactivated, she is preparing for the temple and We are hoping to get her there soon! It would be awesome if we could go with her! Her husband Ron, is a non member but loves to chat with us. He is an amazing wood worker!!

Things are going so good here in Rigby! I hope I can stay here for a long time! The people are great and trat us so well. We are going to have a busy week and will hopefully be teaching a lot of new poeple. Wish us luck!!

Thanks for all of the letters from EVERYONE and all of the support you give me! I love it so much and greatly appreciate it.

It was so good to see the family I saw at dinner! That was a fun night! I'm glad we were able to organize it. Geno is getting so tall and Makayla and Annie look completely different! Good luck on the Move K.C. and Shane and Fly safe Brandon! I pray for you guys every day!
