Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!!
This week was
transfers....and we got a car!!!! I am the designated driver :) It's
lots of fun, but the first two days were rough getting used to driving
again....i'm suprised that sister Bushman didn't get car sick. poor
girl.
On Tuesday we had the coolest experience ever!!! A man
named Eduardo and his wife Rebecca came into the visitors' center when
we were working and asked where they could sign up to study the Book of
Mormon with someone. Sister Jijon went and talked with them and got
their address. Lo and behold they live in our area!!! Rebecca is less
active and Eduardo is a non member. We went and taught them the
restoration and invited him to be baptized!!!!! and he said yes!! We
have been so blessed! He asked where and when church is too! It was a
wonderful night and we are hoping that he will continue to learn and
stay strong in the gospel.
This saturday Sister Bushman and I had the privledge
and opportunity of attending Trinadee's baptism. This is the 8 year old
girl that we have been teaching for a few weeks now. It was a very
spiritual expereince. I just can't quite describe the feeling that I get
when I see someone be baptized. She just looked so clean and happy :)
I just love Christmas as a missionary. I really feel
like I have family here and I am so blessed to be able to spend this
special holiday with them.
I hope that everyone
has a very merry and SAFE christmas!! It has snowed a little bit more
here :) YES! Hopefully we will have a snowball fight soon.
These are my two favorite mormon messages to show people during the Christmas season.
enjoy them!!
I love you all so so so much!
love,
Cami
