Hello Everyone,
Happy Holdays! I wish it would snow already! I’m sick of this nice weather. I just want to wake up one morning and have it be covered in snow!! There was a little dusting of snow this morning, but it is gone L
We have 2 new investigators! Patience and Mercedes! They are sisters J They are 8 and 13 years old and will be getting baptized on December 29th. I am so excited for them! They are the cutest girls! We teach them at Bishop Rohde’s house, and some girls from Activity Days come too! They are really fun to teach!
The funniest thing happened to me at the VC this past week. This little family of four came in and I introduced myself and took them to the Christus statue. I was bearing my testimony, and talking about Christ when out of the corner of my eye, I see this huge spider on the statue. Without thinking, I yell “Shoot! There’s a spider on Jesus!” I proceed to hit the spider on the statue but it wouldn’t die. It fell to the ground so I started jumping on it. I look up and the family is just staring at me. I excused myself to wipe off the squished spider off the bottom of my shoe, and went back to finish up. It ended up being a great lesson!
We were walking to a lesson the other day and the Crystals (From Rigby) saw us and picked us up! They ended up waiting for the lesson to end and they took us out to lunch after! I just love them!
Last night, the missionaries put on a Christmas Fireside. It was all about the life of Christ! A lot of people came to it! (The Waters and the Wofley’s from Rigby came!!!!!) I got to see Sister Owens too! She goes home on the 18th! I’m sad she is leaving, but she has served such a great mission. I will miss her a lot.
There have been lots of ward Christmas parties going on! They are great because they give us all of their leftover food….I love being a missionary! I really love the youth! We have been teaching some of their lessons in Sunday school and it’s super fun! They really connect well with us.
We already have a place to go to on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.....We will just have to wait and see if we are even here. Transfer calls are on Saturday! AH!
Well not much else is going on! I love you all lots and lots! Thanks for everything that you do for me! Rissa I can’t wait for you to get your mission call! I’m going nuts! I’m sorry I’ve been bad at writing letters, we have been busy!!
Love,
Sister Kuhns
