March 25, 2013 Letter

HELLO MY BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!!!!

I had an awesome week!!!
some highlights...

-I got a letter from a boy
-Sister Jacobson and I took cigarettes away from one of our investigators
-A cute old man from Ireland came into the visitors' center and talked with Sister Jacobson and I for over an hour...he even gave us his address and phone number and told us that when we visit Ireland, he and his wife will pick us up from the airport and we can just stay with them. so cute
-We had out first official bible bash! we didn't bash back...but we definitely testified.... apparently we aren't Christian, even though Jesus Christ is in the name of our church.
-the 31st ward didn't have a teacher for singing time in primary, so Sister Jacobson and I got to do it!
-Sister Jacobson and I have recently taken up opera singing in our apartment!
-The Easter fireside was last night! I bore my testimony, and sister Jacobson sang His Hands. AND THE CRYSTALS FROM RIGBY WERE THERE!!!!! It was so good to see them!
-We found 2 new investigators!! Kayde and Kellin
-I got a sweet bruise on my leg and it is numb where it is... seriously sister Jacobson was like stabbing it with her fingernail and i couldn't feel a thing. sweet.
-Sister Woods is from England and she works in the VC, and I am getting better at my English accent...NOT i'm awful!
-Sister Morales and Sister McKnight went home from the VC and their back door was wide open, so Sisters Turner, Hays, Jacobson and I rushed over there with our choice weapons of an umbrella, pocket knife, and a water bottle. We ended up just waiting on the sidewalk with them until their district leader came to check it out. Everything was just dandy! We are pretty sure that they just dind't shut the door all the way and the wind blew it open.

I really can't think of anything else! I love serving a mission. I am so blessed to be serving my Heavenly Father and bearing my testimony of what I know to be true every day! Thank you all for the love and support. I love you so much. You mean the world to me!

love,
Sister Kuhns
