It was great to talk with the family
yesterday! So good to see Mom and Dad. I am not sure what to talk about
because I feel like I told them everything!! So I will tell you a 2
tender mercies!
This past week I went on 2 exchanges! (Exchanges are
when you swap places with a companion to learn from each other) Well I
went back to Idaho Falls central for one of them and it just so happened
that we got to teach Cody! He is doing really good! He was so happy to
see me!! He is getting baptized next week on the 17th in St. Anthony. I
am sad I won't be able to go because it is too far away, but i am so
excited for him.
About 2 months ago, a couple named Manny and Lisa
came into the visitors center. I taught them for about two hours! They
were so receptive and soaked everything up. They left and I never knew
what happened. That is one hard thing about the visitors' center, is we
are kind of just seed planters some times. Well, they came into the
Visitors' Center yesterday for a fireside!! They came with two elders
from my district and told me that they were married on Friday, Baptized on Saturday and confirmed on Sunday.
Oh I was so happy!!! What a miracle! Manny came up to me and told me
that he really felt the spirit when I taught him, and the things I said
made him really feel like he should investigate the church seriously. It
really touched my heart! They said that they would come in more to see
me and keep me updated on their lives. They are excited to go to the
temple!!!
The mission is wonderful. I am learning new things everyday!
I
absolutely love Sister Woods. She is hilarious and we have so much fun
together. She is a trooper for going on so many exchanges too!
There was a bar-b-q in one of the wards the other
day, and the grill was so big that it has a trailer hitch, and Bishop
Hansen pulled it on the back of his truck! haha! I'll try to send a
picture.
Love you!!! Take care!
