The biggest news this week was transfer
calls! Sister Riding is getting transferred to a bi-lingual area speaking
Spanish. We were laughing so hard because she is speaking Portuguese to
prepare for Brazil. Good thing she is fluent in Spanish though. When
President called to tell us, he said that her companion will be a visa
waiter for Argentina, so there will be two Argentinian visa waiters
together! We said, President, she is waiting for her visa to Brazil! He
said, oh great! Well there will be a Brazilian and Argentinian together
then! haha. I am staying in the same area and my companion will be
Sister Leguizimon. She is from Argentina. We have served around each
other before and get along great. She is hilarious and has a voice like
Adele. I'm excited. We will be Sister Training Leaders together! I'm
excited to get back into that. I love helping out the sisters and
getting to know them. I always learn a lot from them. I will miss Sister
Riding though. But she will just be in a different area in Blackfoot.
Wasn't General Conference great? We have been
hearing a lot about the "Ordain Women" movement so I appreciated how
Elder Anderson addressed it without directly saying it. I also enjoyed
Elder Holland and Elder Christofferson's talks. It's hard to pick just
one.
Yesterday we were driving in Wapello and smelt the
grossest smell I have ever smelt. It was a burning pile of horse/cow
poop. So gross.
Not much else has happened this week.
I love you all! Have a fun week :)
